Welcome Nonscriptum!

Pasadena locals Joan Horvath and Rich Cameron have co-founded a new consulting and training company, Nonscriptum LLC, to help educators and scientists learn how to use 3D printing and other “maker” technologies (like Arduino and wearable tech). Horvath's career includes stints as a JPL rocket scientist, entrepreneur and educator, and Cameron is a 3D printing guru who designed the Wallace and Bukito 3D printers. Said Horvath, “We realized that many people had heard about these technologies and wanted to use them but had no idea how to get started. We saw value in being a neutral source for good information in this very hyped-up space.” The pair are also writing books, including “The New Shop Class: Getting Started with 3D Printing, Arduino, and Wearable Tech,” due out from Apress in May ( For more information about their company:
