Are you interested in networking with your female peers in the tech industry? Would you benefit from a supportive network to advance your personal and professional goals in the technology field? If the answer is “Yes”, then this newly formed meetup – Pasadena Women in Technology is for you.
Pasadena Women in Tech will host its first official meetup on June 23rd at 5 pm at one of Pasadena’s downtown hotspots. The meetup will feature a mixer with hosted food & beverages as well as a “share and tell” to encourage a free-flowing exchange of ideas and information about the group’s collective passion for technology. All walks of technology-engagement are encouraged, no matter what role you play within your tech company.
Pasadena Women in Tech was founded by several locals hip to Pasadena’s innovation scene including Liz Krane, Founder of Learn to Code LA; Melody King, Co-founder and active member of Women in Wireless Los Angeles; and myself, Tracy Randall, Founder and former CEO of Cooking.com, a company founded in Pasadena.
The vision for the Women in Tech meetup is to accelerate and support the advancement of women in technology. The group will organize regular social events where members actively share their personal and professional goals, struggles & successes while sharing their expertise and networks. The goal is to bring together an engaged and active group of Pasadena Women in Technology that are striving to advance themselves and others.
