For our General Meetup... John Kurnett (of Cornerstone Digital fame) will share a 15 min presentation on some of the key factors that Google looks at when indexing sites (domain trust, content, the primary tags that impact rankings, link building, and so forth) as well as how to use Google's Search Console to submit sitemaps and manually request indexing. Then he'll wrap up with the basics of using the Yoast plugin.
When the info-fest is complete we will have the usual round-table Q&A session where everyone is invited to ask (and answer) WordPress related questions.
