The Dynamic Lives of Black Holes, Neutron Star, and White Dwarfs in Globular Clusters

Event Details

Carnegie Observatory Lectures at PCC with Dr. Kyle Kremer (NSF Astronomy and Astrophysics fellow). The dense centers of globular clusters are home to a whole zoo of exotic astrophysical phenomena. This talk will describe some of the unexpected events experienced by compact objects — black holes, neutron stars, and white dwarfs— within these dense stellar systems. Stargazing at the PCC Observatory with the Physics and Astronomy Club following the lecture!
