As AI is starting to be deployed throughout enterprises and the government, a new breed of companies is emerging that is creating AI products through the “AI as a service” framework. In this framework there is a tension between “product” vs “services” that impacts the scalability of these solutions. The successful companies will be able to “productize” the services they offer and make them scalable.
