About the Workshop
Great ideas are everywhere. Execution is what makes only a few stand out.
This workshop will introduce attendees to the generals and implications of turning an idea into an actual product that can be manufactured and marketed. We will talk about the product design and development process and how to successfully manage your project, short-run production, the latest 3D design software, useful tools such as 3D printing, roadblocks on the way, sourcing, regulations and distribution channels.
This is not a “start your business” workshop, but rather, we will focus on ideas and product feasibility.
Bring a notebook to take notes, an idea to explore, and curiosity!
Speaker — Giovanni Salinas
Giovanni is an industrial designer who loves seeing ideas materialize. Throughout his career, he has developed hundreds of products for the American, European and Latin American markets, from kitchenware to consumer electronics or urban furniture. He works at Supplyframe’s DesignLab making and breaking things at an equal ratio.
