What have we done? We need to act today!
Our next Meeting on Wednesday October 12, 7:45am to 9:00am, will be a description of the climate crisis as driver for Community 2.0 programs, with its partners, and their purpose of mobilizing our community to action. It will be interactive with community members, and members of our own four committees, so all can have input and offer direction to what we do and how we do it. See attached p we will post on our Meetup page: CoffeeandClimateCrisis.
We need your help to promote this far and wide so we can reach and motivate more people to action and perhaps to join our cause of saving our planet and ourselves from the worst effects of the crisis. If you have not already done so, please join our Meetup page and encourage your friends to do so as well.

Coffee & Climate Crisis
An urgent need exists to inform, engage and mobilize the public about the environmental crisis. The natural environment that sustains human life is being destroyed. Only 12 years remain before wide-scale and irreversible damage is done, says the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The world is changing at an exponential pace and is at a turning point. If we do not shift to sustainable business practices and personal lifestyles, many people will be further imperiled by: drought, flooding, extreme heat and increased poverty in the immediate future.
