Part of our mission at Innovate Pasadena, is to support economic development. One of the ways we can do that is to communicate to the greater LA region that Pasadena has great tech companies looking to hire great talent. The easier it is to hire talent, the faster the companies can grow. Complementary to that, we also want to ensure the Pasadena community is as prepared as possible to get hired by one of the awesome companies.
Announcing Pasadena Tech Jobs "Hit Refresh" Resume Workshop + Panel, the second event in our Pasadena Tech Jobs series. On August 11, 2016 we're teaming up with General Assembly for a Resume Workshop -- and with top Pasadena tech recruiters and founders for a panel discussion on "The Hiring Process: Tips and Tools For Getting the Tech Job You Want". Panelists include Desiree Bogan, Head of Recruiting, Spokeo; Matthew Goldman, Founder, Wallaby Financial; CPO, Bankrate Credit Cards; Marilyn Kruger, Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant, Guidance Software; Wade Smart, Sr. Technical Recruiter, OpenX, and Jim McCarthy, CEO, Goldstar Events who will moderate the panel. Yes! We will serve light appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks. We want you to take good notes, so no alcohol, not to mention it’s a college campus.
