Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has confirmed Earth experienced a near miss on October 30th as an asteroid passed near the planet, dodging it by a “mere” 300,000 miles. Astronomers at JPL spotted the asteroid using an experimental computer program. READ MORE
