Hack for Pasadena is looking for developers, designers and idea-makers to inspire the next round of technologies that will shape Pasadena’s future in a data-driven economy. Moreover, Hack for Pasadena is excited to announce that over $6,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the winning team(s) along with meetings with Venture Capitalists and other prizes valued at over $1,000.

The judging panel of Hack for Pasadena will feature influential and prominent CEO’s and Investors including: Andy Wilson, Co-Chair of Innovate Pasadena and CEO of Rexter; Isaac Garcia, Co-Founder & CEO of Central Desktop; Steve Reich, Chief Sales Officer at Malauzai Software and Pasadena Angels Investor, Erik Wingren, Partner & UX Design Consultant at Interactivism, Shawn McCreight, CTO & Chairman at Guidance Software, Mark Goodstein, Director at Idealab, and Ning Ning Yu, VP Engineering at Perfect Market. Over 75 data sets will be provided to Hack participants including transportation, transit, parking, bike routes, public art, city finance and budget, purchasing, business licenses and more.
