Did you fail? Did you fail big and learn something?
Then this competition might be for you!..
...You might just be the next big Epic Failure!
We at Innovate Pasadena are excited to announce the launch of the Inaugural
Epic Failures Competition.
Success stories make for great headlines but it’s important to hear about failure, too. The “Epic Failures” competition will seek out stories from the trenches; entrepreneurs whose early failures led to ultimate success.
Between now and October 9th, tech, science and design businesses in the Los Angeles region are encouraged to submit an application chronicling how they failed, pivoted and lived to tell the story.
Applicants must submit a 2-minute video describing their failure and lessons learned, including words of wisdom to other entrepreneurs about the virtues of failure.
One winner will be selected by an esteemed panel of judges to win the ultimate title and a cash prize of $5,000. One additional winner will be selected by public vote and attain bragging rights as the "People's Choice Winner."
Winners will be announced at the Innovate Pasadena Level Up Block Party! on Thursday October 22 as part of
Innovate Pasadena’s 2nd Annual Connect Week, October 19-25, 2015.
