Fortnite and DJ Marshmello recently held the largest concert in history. Before them Second Life pioneered virtual live shows. Now, it’s Sansar’s turn to bring forth the future of live music with globally attended immersive Virtual Concerts.
Bio: Sam Distaso
As Sansar's Director of Strategic Business Development, Sam is responsible for changing lives and futures through cutting-edge virtual world technology. He was instrumental in developing Sansar's industry-leading music partnerships with Don Diablo, The Glitch Mob, Blasterjaxx, Spinnin Records and Monstercat. He has helped countless brands harness VR to reach new audiences and revenue streams - establishing Sansar in the process as a first-of-its-kind destination for live events and virtual entertainment.
Prior to Sansar, Sam worked for another social virtual reality company, AltspaceVR, until the company was acquired by Microsoft. He was in charge of live events at AltspaceVR, working with the likes of Reggie Watts, NBC Universal and ESPN for first-ever virtual live event collaborations.
