Hi everyone! We're taking a break from our usual presentation schedule this month to partner with LA Tech4Good and to be a part of InnovateLA! I'm excited to announce that our groups have assembled an awesome panel to cover how UX design can help nonprofits achieve impact and efficiency in reaching users.
As you know, technology is everywhere and everything, yet what you may not know is, more than 24% of households in LA don't have internet connections at home. What's called the digital divide overwhelmingly impacts low-income Latinx immigrants. Given this challenge -- Our distinguished panel will discuss how research and planning a good UX strategy can focus how nonprofits and tech (designers) can work together to reach and engage this population.
The collaborative nature between these groups can lead to the creation of much needed solutions to help bridge the gap between the nonprofits and the users in the communities they serve. Come join the conversation on Nov. 8th!
