The Pasadena 3D Printing meetup will stay virtual for a while, on our monthly schedule. Next up, live from Indiana, we'll have Steve "Part Daddy" Wygant to talk about the differences between designing parts for 3D printing vs. injection molding. Steve is the founder of SeeMeCNC 3D printers, and also runs an injection molding facility.
For example he can tell us about their adventures taking 3D printable face shields and converting them to injection molding. (The photo above, from SeeMeCNC, shows a 3D printed shield on the left and a molded one on the right.) We'll chat with Steve and also share community goings-on.
People who RSVP will get the link about an hour before, and we will limit the total, first come first served, to keep discussion manageable. To get a link you will need to register (no +1s, unless they are sitting next to you). This is a shared event with the 3D Printing LA Meetup; please RSVP on one group or the other, but not both.
