#Connect16 Event by ARTCENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN THU, OCT 20, 7:00PM – 8:30PM ArtCenter College of Design, 1700 Lida St, Pasadena, CA 91103 “The Thinking Eye,” a free public lecture presented by Edward Tufte, artist and data visualization pioneer, followed by a reception for the UNCERTAINTY exhibition featuring 16 artists, including Tufte, who focus on the frontiers of knowledge and interpreting the unknown. Visitors will have the rare chance to see a restored ’75 Dodge van formerly owned by Nobel Physicist Richard Feynman and decorated with Feynman Diagrams, a visual language describing the behavior of subatomic particles. UNCERTAINTY opens October 11, 2016 and continues through January 22, 2017 at the Alyce de Roulet Williamson Gallery.
