John G. McGarvey is the founder of DAO Labs, a startup Chinese herbal medicine and lifestyle company based in Minneapolis that is revolutionizing this beautiful, powerful and ancient practice for western consumers and integrative medicine practitioners. During this talk, John will outline his journey from Wall Street to Tibet, and how by following the advice of a mentor in New York, he left the security of private equity to jump headfirst into a nasty turnaround management situation which eventually spawned his passion for entrepreneurialism.
